Data Cabling
Infralink was founded as a data cabling company, and it remains the lynchpin of our business. We supply, install and support all types of data cabling, from Cat5e and Cat6 through to fibre optics. As new technologies come on stream, we will, of course, supply those too – backed by our no-quibbles, 25-year warranty. Cost-effective, worry-free cabling solutions.

Wireless Networks
Wireless technology has come a long way in a short time. Wireless systems these days are an essential part of any network, and indeed in some instances present a viable, low-cost alternative to conventional cable.

Infralink have installed a wide range of wireless networks, from site-wide solutions to room-specific installations. Our policy of conducting in-depth site surveys prior to carrying out the work means that our wireless systems function as they should from day one.

Managed Network Switches…
…are switches that are used to control bandwidth to users or other network areas – among other things. They allow you to prioritise network traffic. They help with control of VoIP traffic – useful for internet video link-ups between organisations, for instance.

Managed network switches give network administrators a level at which they can structure the network, and enable administrators to diagnose problems and alter the configuration in real time to suit network usage.

Moreover, the user and administration networks can both be run over V-LAN, which emulates two physically separate networks, while using just one set of switches etc – a significant cost saving. Another advantage of V-LAN is that it allows administrators to monitor traffic on the user network; any abuse can be easily spotted – and stopped.

1 and 10 Gigabit Backbones…
…offer high-speed downloading and streaming at 1 and 10 gigabits. But just as important as speed is consistency. Everything needs to run at gigabit level for the network to function as it should – and all too often, it doesn’t.

Infralink realised long ago that a network is only as strong as its weakest link – so we make sure there aren’t any weak links. What that means is ensuring the infrastructure is correct – installing fibre-optic links direct from the central cabinet to the satellite cabinets, rather than in series from one cabinet to the next. By doing it this way, every network user will be guaranteed the same fast, even performance – with no bottlenecks!

Bespoke Solutions
In most cases, cabling and network-building is a matter of installing equipment that’s available on the open market. However, there are instances where an installation requires a component that doesn’t exist.

The Infralink solution? To the best of our knowledge, we’re the only cabling company around that’s geared up to manufacture small to medium-sized components on a one-off basis.

So: if we can’t find one, we’ll make one!

Access Control
Not everyone thinks they need an access control system. But we all have them. The front door of your house, your PIN number, your car-park pass – they’re all access control devices.

Infralink has moved into access control as a logical extension of what we already do. Pretty much all our clients have security concerns to a greater or lesser degree; state-of-the-art access control systems go a long way towards resolving those issues.

We offer a range of single, two and eight door controllers. The controllers can be connected directly onto your wired or wireless LAN / WAN or using the more traditional RS485 network. We also have a wide range of readers to suit all access control requirements. Meanwhile, enGuardPro access control software allows you to control and monitor physical access. Developed over years, enGuardPro is in use around the world to manage all aspects of physical access.

Infralink offers a full diagnostic network health appraisal service, pinpointing any network problems and providing the most affordable and efficient solutions.

Testing and Warranty
We test and certify all installations using the latest test equipment. Furthermore, we offer a full 25-year warranty on cable installations. All other equipment backed by manufacturers’ warranty; terms dependent on equipment specification.
